The first race of the season in the Best in the Desert Racing Association took place last weekend in Parker, Arizona and Elka Suspension was represented by different racing teams.
The Desert Toyz Racing Elka equipped CanAm Maverick took 2nd place overall and 2nd in the Pro Production Turbo class, despite a race with multiple flat tires and no driver change at mid-race. The end of the race proved to be exciting with the team holding the 2nd place just 8 seconds in front of the 3rd place car. An awesome start of the season for the team with last year’s vehicle!
In the production turbo class, Matt Hancock finished 2nd on the short track with his Polaris RZR, after a slow start to the race.
The Black Hills UTV team unfortunately was not able to finish the race due to technical difficulties.
The second round of the BITD Racing Association 2017 season will be held on February 2nd to the 5th, also in Parker, Arizona.
