Kemp, TX (10/10/13) – After 2400 miles, two trailer tires, one trailer axle, a bottom end, a stator and an ignition Vechery Racing has returned home from the prestigious ATV Pro Challenge in Memory of Caleb Moore and can’t wait to do it again! The highly publicized and attended race was held at the very impressive Underground MX facility this past weekend with AMA ATV Pro Rookie of the Year Tyler Hamrick taking a 10th place finish in the last moto of the day.

With a $30,000 purse on the line and 21 pros signed up Tim Dettling and Tyler Hamrick were able to put their Never Sleep Designs/Hetrick Racing Hondas into the field on Saturday from their qualifying efforts on Friday. Dettling, whom is still nursing a broken femur and is freshly off of another surgery decided to play it smart and take it easy in all three motos for the event, while Hamrick unfortunately suffered mechanical issues in the first two motos. “We have been fortunate all year to not have any sort of mechanical problems up until this weekend. The first moto we believe a bearing went out in the bottom end of Tyler’s quad and the second moto we had a stator fail two laps in. Scott, Scottie and Adam do a fantastic job of getting these quads ready at the shop it’s just unfortunate we had two fluke problems at this event,” stated team engineer Kyle Sands. Hamrick would rebound in the third and final moto on his Elka/Six 5 Design Honda to take a tenth place finish behind fellow rookie Casey Martin. Hamrick would also go onto finish fourth in the TQRA Open Expert Class on Sunday behind AMA Pro Veterans Thomas Brown, Jeffrey Rastrelli and Cody Miller.
