Taking the first place on a podium with nothing but Elka equipped bikes, Beau Baron when 2 for 2 at the WORCS Round 2 last weekend in Primm, Nevada.
The weather could not be better for the race on this fast track and the riders had to face a course lengthened by over 2 miles with a tricky rocky section for the pro race. Beau Baron raced in the top three most of the race with an early pit stop and he was able to clinch the first position during the last lap, taking a second victory in as many races so far this season.
“I ended up pitting earlier than everyone else and that worked to my benefit,” said Baron. “I got to have some clear track and caught back up. I ended up passing Robbie, I looked over and his bike was sputtering. All of the sudden, he was out of gas.”
The third race of the season for WORCS Pro ATV is scheduled for Feb. 17-19 at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California.
