Elka’s sponsored GNCC racer Jarrod McClure earned himself a second straight podium finish with a 3rd place finish on Round 3 of the GNCC 2018 season. The race was in Washington, Georgia at the Aonia Pass Motocross track. GNCC racing was back there after a few years.
Jarrod McClure had been running up front all race and worked himself into the final podium position. Coming through the class after a mid pack start, McClure ran down the leaders and was within seconds of battling with them. Lappers seemed to find their way in front of McClure pushing his efforts to getting through as the leaders pulled just far enough ahead that the race ended before a final press for the lead could be mounted.
Round 4 of GNCC racing for ATVs is on April 7-8 at Steele Creek, NC.
