Voici en langue originale anglaise le résumé de course WORCS Ronde 1 du coureur Elka Suspension, Beau Baron.

Atascadero, CA (1/29/2019) – CST’s Beau Baron led every lap of the Pro ATV race for a dominating victory, and he finished third in the Pro Stock SXS race during the WORCS Series season opener in Primm, NV. Baron is running both Pro SXS and the Pro ATV class this season.
In the Pro ATV race, Baron proved he still had the speed and the drive as he dominated the race aboard his Honda. After taking the holeshot, Baron was in another zip code, taking a big win to kick off the season.
“It was a big deal for me to go out there and prove to myself and to everyone else that I still had the speed,” said Baron. “I was on a mission. I got the holeshot and I didn’t look back. I just kept it pinned the whole time.”
In the Pro Stock SXS race, Baron was driving Polaris’ new single-seat RZR RS1. Though it was his first time competing in the new ride, Baron was a quick study. After taking third, he nearly snagged the runner-up slot, but ran out of time as he rounded out an all-RS1 podium.
“This was the first time I had ever driven a single seat car,” explained Baron, who won the 2018 Pro Stock championship. “I went out in practice and decided I needed a wider wheel offset, so I changed it before the race. On the second lap, I got comfortable and I started ripping it. Once there are ruts in the corners, it’s a weapon because you can just stay on the gas through the turns.”
In the Pro SXS race, Baron regrouped after contact with another competitor slowed him at the start. After going from 11th to fourth, he was making up ground on third place when a lapper crashed into him in a turn. After flipping high in the air, Baron credited his Holz Racing Products rollcage for allowing him to emerge unscathed.
“I got around him cleanly and was just railing the corner,” said Baron. “He went inside and just went straight. He hit my car so hard I went flipping 15 feet in the air and it took me out. It’s devastating and this is a shame.”
Baron will be back in action as the ATV and SXS classes head for Lake Havasu, AZ for round two, scheduled for February 22-24. Baron is also proud to announce new sponsor Immortal ATV, which has joined his ATV program this year.
