MCR/Maxxis Tire’s Beau Baron was in the top five off the start and moved into third early in the race and by the end of lap three he took over second from teammate, David Haagsma. Baron paced himself and was looking solid in the first half of the race and at about the midway point, Baron picked up the pace and began to close the gap on Warnia, but the dust held Baron back and he ran out of time before he was able to get close enough to challenge for the lead, leaving him to settle in for second place. Baron’s podium at this round has him sitting in third in points with 94 points.
