Elka’s team member Matt Hancock competed last weekend in two SXS categories at the WORCS 3rd round race in Taft, CA. Despite not earning a podium finish, the driver and his #93 Polaris fought hard to finish both races and continue improving his results for the championship.
The SXS Pro race was hard for every competitor on the field, with difficult track conditions and many cars breaking down. In these grueling conditions, Hancock was able to secure the 7th position in the class. On Sunday’s race in the Pro Stock class, the track conditions had improved and the competition was fierce all race long. Hancock managed to finish 5th overall in the class .
Next round of SXS action in WORCS is on March 17-19 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
